One of my favorites. This picture got me kicked out of facebook, hahaha.

Is it growing scales?! Is it turning into a lizard?!

Like I’ve said a few times before.. I’m not a doctor or even a med student, but this kind of reminds me of “the Tree Man”, Dede, from Indonesia.
If you’ve never seen/heard of Dede, he has epidermodysplasia verruciformis - a susceptibility to HPV (human papillomavirus) of the skin which has resulted in bizarre tree-like growths on most of his body. He has had much of the growths removed, however I last read that the surgery to remove them didn’t go well as planned and some of the growths began to come back and he had to have a couple other surgeries to remove the regrowths.

A photo of Dede.
The texture just seems similar to me. I mean, the HPV susceptibility causes scaly growths of macules and papules, especially on the extremities (hands/feet), but it can occur all over the body.

“Clinical diagnostic features are lifelong eruption of pityriasis versicolor-like macules, flat wart-like papules and development of cutaneous carcinomas.
Patients present with flat, slightly scaly, red-brown macules on the face, neck and body, recurring especially around the penial area, or verruca-like papillomatous lesions, seborrheic keratosis-like lesions, and pinkish-red plane papules on the hands, upper and lower extremities, and face”. [source]

Again, I’m not an expert or a med student or anything so of course I could be way off.
Is it weird that the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture was, “That kind of looks like that skin condition the ‘Tree Man’ has.” and not “What the fuck is on this guy’s dick?”?
